Colored Pencil Class Description:
Learn to use woodless colored pencils and/or poly color pencils to create your very own colored pencil drawing. Upcoming projects include a Landscape drawing and a floral.
Follow the links below to directly register online for the class of your choice. Onsite registration at the store is not available for these classes. There may be a class minimum of three students for classes to run.
To register for the Orchids class on Friday, April 26th, 2019 at 11am-1pm. $35 per student plus supplies
To register for the on Riverbank Landscape class on Sunday, May 5th, 2018 at 2-4pm. $35 per student plus supplies.
Supplies for both classes are available in store:
- Woodless Colored Pencils
- or Poly Color Pencils (12, 24 or 36 count)
- Strathmore 400 Series Drawing
- or Bristol Smooth Paper Pad 9×12″
- Artist Loft plastic or pink eraser
- optional: #2 or #2B pencil for sketching before applying color

Ms. Kronika holds a Bachelor of Fine art, with a specialty in printmaking and installation from Columbia College Chicago. In addition, mixed media artist Jessica Kronika trained in printmaking at Columbia College Chicago, under Friedhart Kiekieben and through an internship under David Jones and Chris Flynn at Anchor Graphics. She interned under the gallery coordinator as head preparatory and gallery assistant at the Center for Book & Paper Arts and the Interdisciplinary Arts Department.
Ms. Kronika has an Associates of Fine Arts in painting and drawing from Kankakee Community College, where she studied under Jane Haley, Linda Randall Powles and Jean Janssen. She pursued advanced coursework in painting under Javier Chavira and sculpture under Michael Hart, while attending Governors State University.
Ms. Kronika has taught courses in mixed media, printmaking, book binding, painting, drawing and sculpture through the Bourbonnais and Bradley Park Districts, Bubotto Centre for the Arts (formerly of West Dundee), and Fly’n Gypsy Art Studios of Algonquin, Oak Park, Bourbonnais and Kankakee since 1996. She also teaches printmaking, calligraphy and sumi painting at Expressions Graphics of Oak Park, watercolor painting at the Elk Grove Village Park District, oil & acrylic painting, drawing, pastel & watercolor at the Community Arts Council’s Arts Center in Northfield Square Mall, Bradley, IL, drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting at the Schaumburg Michaels.
